Yay!!…
My movie is finished, the editing is complete & effects have been added. The new title is The Adventures of Bonnie & Ang, due to changes in the script my first idea was removed about the Roxbury club, but never fear it could return again…but can’t wait to show my new film keep updated =)
‘The Others’
Through the whole movie you are under the intention that the residents staying in the mansion are haunted by intruders. In reality the psychological twist reveals that Grace and her family are the supernatural. The story revolves around a woman and her two children are isolated in a haunted mansion on a remote island while her husband is off to war. When a new trio of servants arrives to replace the crew that mysteriously disappeared, disquieting events begin to unfold. The Others unravels one of the most mind-bending endings as it kept audience on their seats & had them guessing
My script for:
Scene 3
( April (Teagen) & Tim (Niko) are sitting in the canteen opposite to the entrance , Chang (Rahim ) & Rachelle (Amy) slowly make their way towards the others. Both girls unimpressed, with sour looks on their faces. )
(Refusing to talk to each other, Rahim and Niko start up the conversation)
Rahim:
I can’t eat this, it’s to salty
Niko:
That’s because you covered it in salt
Rahim:
No I only put salt on the rice
Niko:
Ok, but what’s with all the pepper?
Rahim:
I like pepper
Niko:
You like pepper? Why because it’s spicy?
Rahim:
Yeah I like spicy
Niko:
Is it spicy or nice?
Rahim:
It’s spicy and nice
(Amy and Teagen are still giving each other dirty looks across the table, annoyed by the conversation the guys are having they lift there heads up)
(Camera pans across to Teagen and Amy)
Teagen & Amy:
SHUT UP
(The camera turns to Niko and Rahim’s faces as they both turn to face the girls )
( Teagen and Amy start laughing, Niko and Rahim look confused)
Teagen:
I can’t believe you thought
(Amy cuts her off)
Amy:
I know I can’t believe I thought (Camera pans to Niko face)
(both laughing through thier lines as the camera pans back and forth between Teagen and Amy )
Amy:
What was I thinking
Niko:
PMS?
(Amy turns to Niko with a death stare, while Teagen turns to Rahim with a oh shit what was he thinking look, both slightly laughing)
(Rahim taps his watch)
Niko:
Ooh Look at the time
(Teagen looks down at her watch)
Teagen:
Ooh shit class has started
(They all get up and head towards class)
Fades to black
END.
Tagline- 5 Girls, 1 Club, 1 Night
A comedy parody of ‘A night at the Roxbury’, a quest to find the holly grail of Pubs,& the determination of 5 girls.
This is my idea for an individual project, basically it opens with a montage of girls dressing up & putting make-up on.There mission for the night is to find this new Pub, but its the problems they encounter on the way that carries the twist & turns of the story, Summer, Brooke, Ashleigh,Bonnie & Angela are the characters but focus more on Summer Brooke, Ashleigh as they are the ones who leave the car for help.

3 Shot Montage…!!!
A Night at the Roxbury!!! 1. The Setup
Protagonist: Steve and Doug Butabi
Love interests: "Hotties",Cambi and Vivica,Emily the daughter of the owner of the neighboring lamp store,Hottie Cop who pulls Steve over for a speeding and Credit Vixen.
2. Inciting incident:
This is complicated, however, by the fact that they can’t even get into the one club that they’d give anything to be in The Roxbury. Every night they would wait hours in line after being discard by Security Guard “You’re brothers?” and in perfect rhythm they reply together “No. Yes”. But while in line they entertain every one with their story:
3. Act One Turning Point:
Things start to look up for them when one night they get into a car accident with Richard Grieco who gets them into the club where they get a meeting with Mr. Zadir the man who owns the hottest clubs in town, the Butabi brothers get to voice their ideas. Also that night they meet two "hotties", Cambi and Vivica and spend the night riding around in a limo, while Dooey is buying runs around all night looking for fluffy whip.
4. Mid-point:
Steve and Doug finally become men by loosing their virginities to Vivica and Cambi, in a scene where they run out 45 seconds later bragging about what happened, and then races back in. Also they have a meeting with Zadir at his office for the brothers to discuss their ideas about an inside outside club where the outside is dressed like your inside the club and the inside is decorated in a jungle theme so that you believe your outside.
5. Act Two TP:
Dooey refuses to let Steve and Doug into Mr. Zadir office for their meeting together, pretending he doesn’t recognise who they are especially after making him drive all night looking for fluffy whip. Feeling aggravated they call up their girlfriends Vivica and Cambi to only realise they where used, “I can’t believe we actually had sex with these asswads”.
6. Act Three TP:
Doug and Steve get into a huge fight where Doug moves out to the guest house and Steve becomes vulnerable and scared:
Steve Butabi: I’m used to seeing Doug behind the register. I miss him.
Kamehl Butabi: He’s in the guest house. It’s 10 feet away. It’s a mansion in there.
Steve Butabi: It doesn’t have cable.
Kamehl Butabi: Yes it does. It has Cinemax!
Steve Butabi: But there’s no HBO! GOD!
7. Resolution or denouement:
Oh I don’t know

Then Steve realises he’s making a mistake and takes off leaving Emily at the alter, but then Craig jumps in and agrees to marry her instead for finical gain. Doug and Steve are now back on the scene and bopping their heads to the right as the finally receive entry into The Roxbury which is turned into an inside outside club complaints of Mr. Zadir who used their ideas. Making Steve and Doug the new club owners, but to finish their night they run into Hottie Cop and Credit Vixen who are perfect for the brothers.
Ideas for my montage, using the eyes is always an effective technique when developing character and pure emotion in the protagonists eyes so in my story I’ve chosen to deal with this aspect, so tell me your ideas and opinions on the subject:
First Shot: ECU of a girl’s eye which then slowly zooms out to reveal bruises and tears running down her face
Second Shot: CU, still shot of empty broken bottles
Third Shot: CU of a closed fist which then pans across the arm then zooms out to a LCA of a man loosing control over his anger
Over the weeks Mark has been demonstarting the correct way to use lights and how the camera can work to your advantatage. By developing the skills to understand the techinques of camera angles and shots as well as teaching us the roles that each character plays in creating a scene.
